Fitness Routine

Obtaining a fitness regimen is easy but there are a few things you'll want to know before diving in if you want to do it the right way. This page is here to give you the low down on crafting up a successful fitness regimen for yourself that actually works and not just for the short term.

Change up your exercises

There is one rule of thumb and that is to hit up all of the major muscle groups at least once per week and sometimes more than once. You'll want to start off with a simple mixture of basic exercises and if you have the time, repeat the exercises later in the day towards the evening. Here is a brief summary of a successful fitness routine.

  1. Choose three or four exercises to do each exercise session that you do.
  2. Wait for your muscles to feel as though they are burning and once you cannot stand it anymore, stop for 10 seconds, then repeat this process two or three times per set. This is one of the success secrets.
  3. After your done with one exercise, move onto the next one.
  4. After you cycle through your entire selection of exercises it's called doing a set.
  5. Your entire workout will probably consist of two or more sets depending on your experience and how much you want to do.

Hit up different angles of the same muscle group

Another secret to success when it comes to a fitness regimen is to remember that on a different day, it's completely fine to hit up the same muscle using a different exercise that targets the same muscle. For example, on one day let's say you chose to do standing leg squats, calf raises, bicep concentration curls as well as ab crunches. Well, on the next day, you could do leg lunges, calf raises, tricep kickbacks and regular ab sit-ups. The second day your targeting the quadriceps again as well as the abs but you're doing different exercises.

The notorious fitness plateau

If you do not follow our suggestions, your body will become stagnant from doing the same exercises you'll feel like even though your exercising still but your no longer receiving the excellent results as from when you first started your fitness regimen. These plateau's can be devastating to your mind and you'll feel like giving up and so most people do. What these people don't realize is that the human body is amazing at recognizing patterns and it will eventually adapt and if you do not change up your exercises regularly and often, you definitely will hit a plateau.
